FAQ's

(Q) What form should I send my artwork?

(A) Good artwork is essential, particularly when laser engraving. Clean images

presented in one of the following formats are best; .jpg, .tiff, .eps. If we start with a

clean image, we do not charge to include it in your project. We will provide a quote on

any charges to clear up your artwork once it is reviewed.  If you have questions in

regards to how best send your files, let us know.

(Q) What is the turn around time for laminated plaques?

(A)  Our laminated plaques are custom made. Each piece is

crafted by hand, with several processes involved in completing

each one. Please allow 2 weeks for us to hand craft your plaque.

Rush orders can be completed for a 50% rush charge.

(Q) What is the difference between laser engraving and sublimation?

(A)  Laser engraving involves the use of a laser beam to create images on

metal, wood, glass, and acrylic's. The use of the laser allows for greater attention

to detail, even in small images. The use of quality artwork is key. Sublimation involves

the use of special inks printed on paper, then heated to a very high temperature and embedded

into metal. We now offer color sublimation as well, which allows many options for

your plaques.

(Q) Can any document be used to create a laminated plaque?

(A) Many documents, newspaper articles, diploma's can be used to create

a laminated plaque. If your document is extremely thick, we may be able to copy it to

suitable paper and return your original. Due to the nature of the process, any raised

seal's on the document will be pressed out. If you have any questions about your document,
